IPPA Task Force on Accreditation
The IPPA Task Force was established in July 2023 with the responsibility of developing an international accreditation framework for positive psychology education providers. Its primary mandate is to ensure the integrity, quality, and consistency of positive psychology training globally. This includes setting accreditation standards for curriculum content, faculty qualifications, ethical practices, student support, and evidence-based teaching. The Task Force comprises a diverse group of global experts with backgrounds in academia and applied practice across coaching, therapy, education, and business. Their work is grounded in the values of inclusion, transparency, peer review, and quality assurance. The accreditation initiative responds to the rising demand for positive psychology education and the current lack of regulatory oversight or quality control mechanisms in the field.
