IPPA Institutional Accreditation Application
To provide global assurance and confidence in Positive Psychology educational programs, the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) has developed twelve core standards. These standards:
Promote ethical integrity
Align education with professional practice
Offer a framework to evaluate programs across diverse sectors
Each standard ensures your program upholds ethical practices, embraces diversity, and adapts to innovations in the science and practice of Positive Psychology. Together, they form the foundation of your application for accreditation.
Time Commitment
Completing each standard typically requires 2–3+ hours. Each standard requires you to provide:
Research-informed content
Documentation of curriculum and instructional methods
Evidence of learner assessment processes
By undertaking this process, your educational program contributes to a global culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement in Positive Psychology education.
