A Tiered Framework for Excellence in Positive Psychology Education
The IPPA Accreditation Framework recognizes and elevates educational programs that advance excellence in Positive Psychology and wellbeing science. Structured across five progressive tiers, the framework supports programs in fostering deepening levels of conceptual understanding, applied skill, and ethical integrity.
Each tier builds on the last—beginning with foundational knowledge and culminating in leadership and innovation—offering a clear pathway for educational institutions and learners alike. These levels serve as benchmarks for quality, alignment, and impact, helping match programs to the appropriate accreditation status based on content, learner profile, and intended outcomes.
Whether introducing newcomers to wellbeing or preparing leaders to shape the field, IPPA accreditation ensures rigorous, evidence-informed, and ethically grounded education in Positive Psychology.
Programs accredited through this framework are expected to be evidence-informed, culturally responsive, and ethically sound. Whether introducing newcomers to wellbeing science or equipping leaders to shape the future of the field, IPPA accreditation aims to ensure programs are evidence-based, credible and follow standards across settings.
